Aims

Newcastle Christian School exists to the glory of God and with the following specific aims:

  • To assist and encourage Christian parents in their God-given responsibility to educate their children, supporting , rather than supplanting, them in this task
  • To develop and deliver a Christ-centred and rigorously academic curriculum
  • To allow opportunities for children to learn alongside their peers
  • To model godly living and learning
  • To build up the body of Christ (by assisting parents in raising godly, well-educated children and by facilitating co-operation between families and different churches)
  • To develop a distinctively Christian learning community in which children are trained and nurtured in:
    • Fear of the LORD, and love of Him in everything

    • Knowledge of the Truth, as revealed in Scripture, creation and providence
